Expositions centre

The Centre is located in the old jail, inside the Renaissance building of the Mirambel´s town council. Town that enjoys the condition of Historical Group and Reward Europa Nostra.

At the present time, the exhibition corresponding to the ground floor has been carried out, and it is dedicated to the own town architecture; and a space towards the second floor that will be devoted to the panoramic of the Maestrazgo´s architectural patrimony.

CONTENTS.

The inferior plant develops general questions on the architectural patrimony, exemplified through the Mirambel´s rich architecture: religious architecture, urbanism, civil architecture, the centres of power.... taking as central element the population's scale model as it should be at the beginning of the XX century.

The second space, still in the ground floor, serves as space and thematic transition towards the concrete aspects of the architecture's development of the Maestrazgo´s Cultural Park, pointing with a lighting panel's system the general aspects of the architecture's evolution: prehistory, the Roman world, the architecture of the Reconquest, the Gothic and the Modern Age. It includes the reconstruction with a scale model of the Roman mausoleum of the Cid´s hermitage in La Iglesuela del Cid.
